3 Sessions of Online Coaching for ToK Essay or Exhibition

Online coaching on the planning, structure and writing of the ToK Essay or Exhibition Commentary.

In coaching sessions on The Essay we can look at the elements required for a high score in the ToK Essay, including the following areas:

• Definitions of key terms & concepts.

• Knowledge Arguments & Counterarguments.

• Evaluation points.

• Implication points.

In coaching sessions on The Exhibition we can look at the elements required for a high score in the ToK Exhibition, including the following areas:

• Choice of prompt.

• Choice of objects.

• Link between the object and prompt.

• The specificity of the knowledge argument arising from each object.

Of course, we can also look at any other areas that you want help / advice on.

Coaching sessions are most effective if you send me your Essay / Exhibition commentary at least 24 hours before the session (send to Daniel@ToKToday.com).

Online Coaching Sessions are 45-60 minutes long, the session fee is €100/session.

All online sessions with students will be recorded. The recordings will be shared with the student. This enables the student to refer back to the content in the session when they are developing their ToK Essay / Exhibition. The recording also serves a safeguarding function.

Online feedback sessions will be arranged by email, and will use either Google Meetings, Teams or Zoom (whichever the student prefers).
